Do I Need a Visa to Visit Tibet?

Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport require a visa to visit Tibet or China for the purposes of business or tourism.

Please note that the Chinese Embassy in Canada does not issue an individual visa for tourists to Tibet. All applicants who travel to Tibet need to contact their local travel agency to be placed on a special visa for Tibet.
