Do I Need a Visa to Visit Taiwan?
Canadian citizens using Canadian passports do not require a visa to enter Taiwan for tourism or business stays less than ninety (90) days.
Canadians must have a confirmed departure ticket, and be arriving at either C.K.S. International Airport, Kaohsiung International Airport, Keelung Harbor, Hualien Harbor, Taichung Harbor and Kaohsiung Harbor. Although not on the above list, there are indications that arrival is also allowed as other airports. This cannot be confirmed in writing.
Nationals of the following countries do not need a visa:
European Union (EU); Australia (30 days), CANADA, Iceland, Japan, Korea Rep, Liechtenstein, Malaysia (30 days), Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore (30 days), Switzerland, UK, USA.
All other nationals will need a visa.
