Do I Need a Visa to Visit Switzerland?
Canadian citizens using Canadian passports do not require a visa to enter Switzerland for tourism or business stays under ninety (90) days.
Most foreign citizens using foreign passports and a Canadian Permanent Resident Card now require a Schengen visa to enter Switzerland for any reason.
Apply IN PERSON at a Swiss Embassy or consulate general for the Schengen visa.
Non-Canadians must apply IN PERSON at the nearest Embassy or Consulate of the country which is their main or first destination.
Your visa application must be submitted in person at the Swiss consular office responsible for the province where you live.
