Do I Need a Visa to Visit Oman?
Canadian citizens using Canadian passports need a visa to enter Oman for all purposes. This is usually issued at the airport upon arrival. Canadian tourist on cruise ships usually benefit from a ship-wide visa issued to the cruise line by Oman, so no personal passport visa is required. Please check with your cruise line or airline prior to travel.

Nationals of the following countries do not need a Short Visit Visa issued prior to arrival to enter and remain in Oman for up to thirty (30) days, as it is issued upon arrival at Seeb International Airport: Australia, Brunei, CANADA, China PRC, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Malta, New Zealand, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Turkey, USA.
All other nationals will need a visa.
