Do I Need a Visa to Visit Maldives?
Canadian citizens using Canadian passports do not require a visa to enter Maldives for tourism or business stays under thirty (30) days.
Maldives maintains an open door policy to visitors, and does not require any visa for a stay up to thirty (30) days.
Visitors must have a valid return or onward air ticket to a destination where the visitor has permission to enter, together with necessary visas for the onward journey to the next destination. Visitors also require a minimum of US$30 per person per day or confirmed hotel reservations for the intended period of stay in Maldives.
Transit passengers must leave Maldives within 24 hours of arrival.
