Do I Need a Visa to Visit Kyrgyzstan?
Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport DO NOT need a visa to visit Kyrgyzstan for up to sixty 60 days for the purposes of tourism or business when entering by air or land. Kyrgyzstan is now visa-free for Canadians.
Foreigners in Canada, and Canadian nationals staying in Kyrgyzstan over 60 days should contact our U.S. partner called ITS EASY for this visa as the Kyrgyz Embassy to Canada is located in the United States.
Nationals of the following countries do not need a visa:
CIS (former USSR) countries, *EXCEPT Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Republic, Japan, Korea DPRK, Macedonia, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, Serbia Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Vietnam, IF they are resident in their own country and visiting as tourists.
All other nationals will need a visa.
Nationals of the following countries can apply for a short term visa without an official letter of invitation:
European Union (EU), *EXCEPT Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania;
Australia, CANADA, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Korea Rep, Liechtenstein, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, UK, USA.
