Do I Need a Visa to Visit Denmark?

Canadian citizens using Canadian passports do not require a visa to enter Denmark for tourism or business stays under ninety (90) days.

Most other nationals will need a visa.

Non-Canadians must apply IN PERSON at the Danish Embassy or Consulate (Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver) for the European Customs Treaty Zone visa. Visa seekers are advised that they must seek visas directly and in person from the embassy or consulate as they will be interviewed and fingerprinted and biometrically scanned

Non-Canadians must make an appointment directly with the appropriate embassy or consulate and attend the IN PERSON interview and fingerprinting. You must contact the embassy for the appointment. The embassy will tell you which documents to bring to your appointment.

Denmark is a signatory of the European Customs Agreement on border control and visa standardization.

Due to Danish government regulations, no third party can assist you with your visa needs. All visa applicants must appear IN PERSON at the embassy or consulate. Applicants must make an appointment before going to the embassy or consulate.
