Do I Need a Visa to Visit Denmark?
Canadian citizens using Canadian passports do not require a visa to enter Denmark for tourism or business stays under ninety (90) days.
Most other nationals will need a visa.
Apply IN PERSON at the nearest Danish Embassy or Consulate for the Schengen Zone visa.
Non-Canadians must apply IN PERSON at the nearest Embassy or Consulate of the country which is their main or first destination.
Denmark is a signatory of the Schengen area Agreement on border control and visa standardization. The application for a Schengen area visa is the same for all members. Prices vary depending on the country of your first arrival.
Travelers to Denmark are advised that they must seek visas directly from the Danish Embassy in Ottawa or from the nearest Consulate General in Toronto, Calgary or Vancouver.
Due to Danish government regulations, we are unable to assist you with your visa needs. Travelers to Denmark are advised that they must seek visas directly from the Danish consular offices in Canada as they will be interviewed and biometrically scanned / fingerprinted.
