Do I Need a Visa to Visit Cambodia?

Canadian citizens using a Canadian passport require a visa to visit Cambodia. Tourist visas are usually purchased upon arrival at an airport or land crossing point in Cambodia.

Business visas should be acquired prior to travel if possible.

Canadians visiting Cambodia can buy a visa-on-arrival at either of Cambodia's two international airports (Phnom Penh & Siem Reap); or Poi Pet or Bavet/Moc Bai land crossings, upon arrival. Visa applications for visa-on-arrival are available on the arriving aircraft and at the land border crossings.

Tourists are encouraged to use visa-on-arrival, or the e-Visas if absolutely necessary.

E-Visas cannot be used to enter Cambodia by boat on the Mekong River, or by ship at the Port of Sihanoukville. Please see the attached form for all entry and exit points.
